Sauchur House is a stunning, large detached listed 19th century townhouse, immaculately presented and tastefully decorated throughout.  Located centally in the beautiful seaside village of Elie in the East Neuk of Fife.  The house was built in an L-shape with a beautiful south facing facade looking out over a lush walled garden.  A conservatory leads out to a lovely stone terrace and to one side is a protruding curved stairway turret.

Internally the house is very much laid out as a practical and comfortable family home with beautifully proportioned and airy rooms with many fine period features.

Accommodation

A central hall leads off to a large double aspect, diningroom which comfortably seats 12 and connects through to a spacious drawing room and cheery conservatory with views over the south facing garden.  A side corridor leads off the main hallway to a family room (snug) with a log burning stove which seats 6.  The room follows on to a well laid out kitchen with racing green AGA and gas cooking facilities.  There is seating for up to 8 around the kitchen table.  Further ground floor accommodation comprises a cloakroom with loo and washhand basin, utility room with washing and drying facilities and a large fridge and freezer; an office with exercise machine.

A curved stone staircase leads to spacious upstairs hall off which the bedrooms are situated.  The large master bedroom has a double aspect views with a super king sized bed, a further double bedroom room upstairs and three further twin bedded rooms - generously laid out over the large first floor.  There is one bathroom (with a generous sized bath - in depth and length) with a separate walk in power shower.  There is also a shower room with power shower situated separately.

The staircase leads further up to the second floor which boasts a small sitting/games room with sofas and television.
