If you want to rent a house with a real WOW factor ... then Old Church House, a converted former Baptist church with stunning views located in the picturesque Scottish fishing village of Pittenweem is the one for you!
The property is situated over 2 floors and a mezzanine. The main entrance opens on to the large open plan space that combines living, dining, kitchen and gallery. A spiral staircase leads to the two open mezzanines linked by a glass walkway. On the lower floor, with access to the garden, are three bedrooms, two witn en-suite bathrooms as well as a utility room.
Sleeps 7 (sofabed in upper gallery), the house also has a lift for use for disabled or elderly persons to access all floors. There is a ramp for entry to the house.
The main entrance to the house is at the top of the Wynd and parking is on the main road a short walk away. A car can be carefully reversed down the Wynd for offloading but will need to be parked on the road.
There is a cloakroom and plenty of room for storing golf clubs and holiday gear. Another set of double doors leads to the body of the house, the glorious open plan kitchen, dining room / sittingroom. Look up and you will see the walkway and the mezzanine level with the Church windows and window seats from which you get the most fabulous sea views. The diningroom table seats 10 with comfort. There is a bookcase stocked with holiday reading and comfy sofas and chairs to enjoy doing just that. There is a TV, freeview box and DVD player. The sitting area surrounds a cosy woodburner (logs supplied) ...
There is a spiral staircase leading to the mezzanine level with two spacious areas for sitting and relaxing. One area has a sofabed which sleeps 2.
From the sittingroom there is a staircase down to the bedroom. Thw two double bedrooms have doors out to the garden, as does the utility room.
Bedroom 1 : 5 ft double bed, spaciously appointd with large ensuite bathroom. Door out to the garden.
Bedroom 2 : Double bed again well appointed with views out to the garden, large shower ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 3 : Single bedroom.
Utility room with washing machine and tumble drier with doors out to garden, perfect for storing walking boots and wellies. There is a side gate into the garden.
Family bathroom with bath, shower, wc, spacious equippe to be suitable for a disabled person.
The garden is beautifully landscaped with sheltered terraces perfect for sitting and relaxing in.

What's included in the rental : Linen, towels and an initial supply of logs for the fire, along with a Welcome Folder (which is sent out once the deposit is received) - this includes details of where to eat in the vicinity, golf courses, art galleries, local shop and tourist information etc.
