Methven House is a large Victorian house, newly renovated (completed in 2009) throughout to the highest standard. It can either be rented as a WHOLE house, or as two separate properties, one section accommodating 8 and the other section accommodating 4 (please ask for the accommodation break down if you're looking to rent "part of the house".
It's bright and very spacious with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 sittingrooms (both with wood-burning stoves - generous quantities of wood supplied!) large kitchen, utility kitchen, garden with patio. Over the road from the sea.

Comprises a vestibule with a traditional Victorian style tiled floor, a reception hall with stairs leading up to 4 bedrooms (one twin bedded room, one single bedded room, one bunk bedded room with a single bed and one master bedroom with a super king sized (zip and link) double bed and ensuite bathroom). There is also a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.
To the left of the reception hall is the spacious south-facing sittingroom with wood burning stove and large digital TV. Straight on from the reception hall is the "snug" sittingroom with wood burning stove and digital TV. This is open planned with a modern kitchen which leads out through glass doors to the garden.
From the larger kitchen there's a left hand turn into the utility kitchen. There is a large shower room and ground floor twin bedroom at the back of the property on this side. There is a staircase from the utility kitchen up to a kingsize double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There is a doorway from the utility kitchen through to the large sittingroom at the front - this has a doorway out to the High Street.
